The planning rules international visitors need before choosing hotels, routes, guides and transport.
Start with nationality, dates and exact route
Xinjiang planning is route-specific. Urumqi and Turpan, Ili, Kanas and Hemu, the Pamirs and Southern Xinjiang do not have one shared answer for documents, hotels or local access. Begin with passport nationality, broad dates, gateway and the precise road sequence you want.
We check current operating practice before confirmation. A supplier catalogue or a hotel name used for domestic travelers is not enough proof that the complete service works for a foreign guest.
Guide and driver are different roles
A driver manages the vehicle and agreed transport. An English-speaking guide provides interpretation, helps with visitor-facing logistics and explains culture and places. Small-group products may be driver-led; private products can be quoted with English-guide coverage. The confirmed scope must say which applies each day.
Do not infer language ability from a vehicle class or small group size. If English support is essential for food, health, children or complex visits, say so at the inquiry stage.
Protect personal data
Do not submit passport numbers, scans or payment card details through the public form. Nationality and route are enough for early planning. If a secure document step becomes necessary, we explain the purpose and deadline before collecting it.
Carry the original passport used for reservations. Named attraction, hotel and transport procedures can require the same document at check-in or entry.
